Located in Racine, Wisconsin, the Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization (HALO) operates a shelter for persons experiencing homelessness and permanent housing for formerly homeless persons.

The Executive Director leads a team of dedicated staff who facilitate the journey from shelter to self-sufficiency and housing stability with each client. The ideal candidate will have a MA, MS, MBA, JD or other professional degree in management, business, law, finance, human services, or other relevant field; and 10 years of experience in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years as an executive director, assistant director, or other upper level management position in a non-profit organization. A successful record in fund development, finance, or homeless and housing programs and services is also required. (Persons with an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.)

The Executive Director position is full-time, exempt. Salary range $85,000 - $105,000 (based on education and experience). Health and dental insurance available, 80% employer paid. Vision insurance available as well as 401k plan, no employer contribution. Generous PTO, 6 paid holidays.
