A Dream Realized: Unveiling HALO's New Cheerful Kid's Area!

We are absolutely bursting with excitement and gratitude to share the incredible unveiling of our brand new Kid's Area here at the HALO shelter! This space is more amazing than we ever could have imagined, thanks to an extraordinarily generous family.

Bringing a Vision to Life

For a long time, we dreamed of having a dedicated space for the children staying with us—a place that felt cheerful, inviting, and safe. We wanted a haven where they could simply be kids. When the amazing Misner Family—Jennie, Jason, and their daughter—approached us about "adopting a room," we knew this dream was about to become a reality.

The Misners embraced the project wholeheartedly. They donated all the supplies and spent countless hours volunteering their time to bring the area to life. Jennie and Jason poured their hearts into the planning, painting, and decorating, completely transforming a previously unused space. They were just as excited as we were when we shared the vision for the room, and the result truly exceeded all expectations!

A Space for Learning, Playing, and Relaxing

This new Kid's Area is now fully equipped to serve the varied needs of our young residents. It's a comfortable and engaging environment where the children can:

• Catch up on school work in a calm environment.

• Play games and activities together.

• Relax and find a moment of peace.

Our dedicated HALO staff also contributed, ensuring the shelves were stocked with a variety of books and toys sourced from other generous donations we've received. It was a true community effort!
