HALO Connects with Families at the 2nd Annual Community Carnival
We had a fantastic time spending the day outdoors and connecting with local families, neighbors, and supporters at the 2nd Annual Community Carnival! Held on the scenic grounds of Grace Church and hosted by Racine County Foster Care, the event brought our neighborhood together for a memorable afternoon focused entirely on family, fun, and community connection.
The carnival provided a wonderful, free opportunity for local families to enjoy the final stretch of summer. Children spent the afternoon jumping in the bounce house, collecting creations from the balloon artist, and enjoying free pizza, cotton candy, and popcorn. In addition to the carnival activities, the afternoon hosted the Beleaf Survivor's Together WE SCAN Fun Walk, bringing even more purpose and fellowship to the grounds.
HALO was proud to participate alongside more than 30 dedicated local organizations, all working together to share vital resources and support services available across Racine County.
A very special thank you goes to HALO Board Member Robin Hoke, who generously represented our organization throughout the day. Robin hosted the HALO information booth, greeting visitors, answering questions about our programs, and sharing details about our upcoming community initiatives. Face-to-face moments like these allow us to build deeper relationships with the families we serve and the community that supports us.
Events like the Community Carnival highlight the strength, compassion, and unity of Racine County. We extend our sincere gratitude to Racine County Foster Care for organizing such a seamless event, to Grace Church for hosting, and to every individual who stopped by the HALO table to chat, ask questions, or learn how to get involved with our mission.
