A Look Back at National Night Out at HALO!

On Tuesday, August 4th, the HALO parking lot was filled with laughter, delicious food, and wonderful community spirit for our National Night Out Cookout!

National Night Out is all about building safer, more connected neighborhoods, and this year’s event at 2000 DeKoven Avenue was a true celebration of community partnership and togetherness.

An Evening Filled with Fun, Food, and Connection

From 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, families, friends, and local organization partners gathered to share a fantastic summer evening.

Here are just a few highlights from the night:

  • 🏰 Fun for the Kids: Children had a blast jumping in the bounce house, playing lawn games like giant Jenga, and enjoying interactive activities hosted by our community guests.

  • 🌭 Great Food & Music: Everyone enjoyed free cookout food, music, dancing, and giveaways throughout the evening.

  • 🤝 Community Partnerships in Action: We were proud to host representatives and tables from incredible local organizations—including Ascension—providing helpful health and wellness resources directly to our neighbors.
